In Pittsburgh, Rothfus Joins Sec Commissioner Michael Piwowar to Host a Listening Tour to Strengthen Local Start-up Businesses

Today, Congressman Keith Rothfus (PA-12) along with SEC Commissioner Michael Piwowar, and Catherine Mott of BlueTree Allied Angels hosted a listening tour with local entrepreneurs, investors, and attorneys to discuss policy solutions that will help small businesses access the resources they need to launch, grow, and expand.

"Western Pennsylvania has become a national leader for start-up activity," said Congressman Rothfus. "Pittsburgh area entrepreneurs are a driving force in economic development, technological innovation, and job creation. I found it helpful to hear from the local start-up community about the challenges and opportunities they face. I also appreciated the opportunity to discuss my ongoing efforts on the Financial Services Committee to ensure they have access to the resources they need to flourish."
